is anyone else who uses anti-vir having problems updating. every time i try to update i get a message 'failed to update, no connection to the internet could be established, please see report file'. in the report file it says 'critical error..updater failed to update as no connection to the internet could be established'.
i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it doesnt do anything, ive disabled it and installed avg, ran that and didnt pick up any viruses.
    any help would be appreciated

Might be your firewall -- make sure the updating program is allowed to access the Internet.

had that problem with an update over the weekend so I updated manually instead. Seems to be back to normal now, haven't noticed any connection errors since.

that's weird, were you not able to download the zip file from their site or was the problem when you selected to update from a manual source?
