    Or wait until lidl / aldi do the rechargables for about three times that price.

    far better value unless you use the batteries for things like remote controls and clocks that don't need frequent changes.

    True but I think those M3 or whatever they are called are the "top of the range" ones.

    Actually Duracell Ultra M3.
    Sounds more like a souped up car.
