You never know, they did it for More4 now I know that that was a new channel but they could do it.
I emailed them on Thursday asking about it but NTL being NTL customer service wise I could be weeks waiting on a reply back, that's why I tried here.

    Channel 4 +1? Wouldn't that make it Channel 5!

Don't see the point of it, most of their shows get repeated on E4 or More4. And we don't really need another channel showing Big Brother, do we? If UPC were able to put another service on their system there are many many other channels I'd prefer to see.

Through Sky Digital. Pointing out that although it is a +1 channel, it is useful.

Well seeing that you only have NTL analogue which doesn't carry any +1 channels and highly unlikely it ever will and you said on your previous thread you'll never upgrade to digital so I guess you won't be seeing Channel 4+1 if it was added to the digital line up.

I hope so, but knowing NTL it'll probably be another 6 months before it comes into play.

That's true tax man but I'm enquiring because I have NTL's digital in my station, even if it wasn't I can still enquire about it regardless, you're supposed to be a technician with NTL aren't you so can you not confirm for us whether NTL are or aren't going to be showing it ?

They prob. want people to get their new DVR which would mean no need for a +1 channel.

Yeah they could be doing that alright.

Actually I find with DVRs (a TiVo in my case) the +1 channels come in very handy, specially if the DVR can only record one channel at a time, if there are two channels you want to record at the same time, then just record one off the +1 channel.
