Okay I saw the trailer for this and taught it looked fairly rubbish however the IMDb users seem to strongly disagree with me:
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0829482/

    Anyone here see it yet?

The critics also disagree with you: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/superbad/

    ;)

    Looks great to be honest!

PS - looks puerile, immature but hilarious. Co-written by Seth Rogen, produced by Judd Apatow and starring the hilarious Jonah Hill and Michael Cera - i'm there!

Maybe it was just the trailer. By the end of it I was thinking, "Okay they're misfits, I get it!" Hopefully theres a lot more to it than the trailers suggest.

    Trailer looks great.

    Could be good.

Have to admit...I too think this looks funny.

Some sort of trio between this, Knocked Up and 40 Year Old Virgin.

    I think it looks great!

And features George-Michael from one of the best TV series ever produced - I'm so there :D

Been looking foward to this for ages...couldnt find anything specific about UK/IRE release though so just assumed it was out same time. But,as its currently top of us box office, and not out over here, I assumed wrong.
When is it out over here?

A friend saw this in the US recently. He said it was one the funniest films he's seen in a good while, can't wait for it to come out over here.

This does look excellent. Saw the trailer today and a good few laughs in that alone.
Judd Apatow and Seth Rogen are a force to be reckoned with these days.
And with good cause. About time, if you ask me.

Looks great.. between this and Knocked Up within a few weeks of each other I'll be a happy man. :)

When is it out over here?
In the UK, it'll be out Sept 14th so fingers crossed Ireland as well :)

Here's Edgar Wright (director of 'Hot Fuzz, 'Shaun of The Dead', 'Spaced') interviewing Jonah Hill and Michael Cera:

Hilarious...and listen for the inevitable 'Arrested Development' question at the end! :D

    Who?

He clearly hasn't seen one of the best shows in recent years. Let's not talk to him anymore :D:D

    He's made a terrible mistake

Looking forward to this. More so to Knocked Up.

Got me some free tickets (UK-only) for Superbad but keep an eye out for any Dublin Vue ones that will inevitably get added.

Saw it last week and its brilliant in all honesty, one of the funniest films of this type that has come out in years.
It reminds me of when I first saw American Pie, laugh out loud funny.
So many funny characters, the two cop characters are hillarious - think they wrote it too, not sure though

One of them co-wrote it (Seth Rogen)... the other is just an actor!

Superbad was written by Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg back when they were in high school and you can tell! It just looks like a day in the life of an American high school nerd.

Anywhoooo, saw it this week - it was brilliant! Just don't go to see it if you're easily offended by bad language and the like. There is a long montage of penis cartoons at the end.

Also, there is absolutely no comparison between Knocked Up and Superbad. Knocked Up was OKish in a "Katherine Heigl is good looking but that's it" sort of way.

    Wrong, 'Knocked Up' was hilarious!

    So there! ;)

    Have never liked American Pie........

Properbly looking foward to this nearly as much as Waitress and Knocked Up when they hit Dundalk tonmorrow

    Very funny movie. 10/10

Seth is a mix between cartman and homer, and mcLovin is gas

This movie is simply pure class and alot better than American Pie. A cousin sent it to me last night and I've already seen it twice. It's so good. Shame it's taking another 3 weeks to come out here
