    Hi

My boss has made some wav files of old tapes and wants to play them on his car cd player

I've downloaded AVS for him but wondering if any one recommends a good /free converter

ALso wht format am I converting to , i.e. what woud the file extension be? Is it CDDA?

I see you can convert them in sound recorder that comes with windows but that would be one file at a time.

I've EAC on my home pc would that do it ? (though it took me forever to get the setting right at home )

    many thanks

You can use any CD Burning program. Many programs like Nero (You can get a trial version) will have an option to burn an AUDIO CD.

Another option, and probably the easiest for ya, is to use the BURN option on Windows Media Player. That will automatically convert the .WAV files into whatever you specify, though there's nothing wrong with the default .WMA. Then the CD will be playable.

as far as I remember iTunes plays wav files - once you add
the files you could easily create a CD from a playlist.

wav files basically are cdda files. Any cd burning program should do the (limited) conversion for you (or it's crap).
