    Effective stacks 500

Villain is boring TAG. 20/13/2 or something similar.

He opens UTG to 14. Folded to me in the BB. I make it 54 with KK. He flat calls.

    Flop (110)

    Ks Ts 3h

I lead for 80. He calls.

    Turn (270)

    4s

    I check he bets 180.

    Call/shove/fold?

If calling what do we do on a blank river if he shoves.

shove, would a 'boring TAG' have AsQs or QsJs here?

only two hands I can see you being behind to

Call because were calling the turn for a blank river.

If he always has a flush when he bets the turn then you can either fold or call and fold if you dont improve, however as the hand played out and without much of a read, I would expect him to have sets & one pair floats (as well as flushes) so im not folding. I just push it in now

From your description I can't ever see him having anything other than AsA, AsK, or 1010, I push it in here all day.

I would be thinking along the same lines. Just be sure to do a patented El Stuntman butt squeeze.

I'm never folding here.... If he has AsXh and you call and he misses the river you get no more money off him.... Shove now....

If you are behind you still have outs.... He will turn up here with sets, 1pair hands. AsX as well as a flush so I cant ever fold....With out a concrete read I push..

he will never of gotten here with As x where x is not a pair, so he will call all in on the turn.

you of course are correct..... AA QQ 1010 AK are much more likely.. Only AsX hand I can see here is one that beats us with AsQs but with the other hands bang in the middle of his range getting it in now is the correct move as another spade on the river could kill the action if he has a set of 10's...

yes, but I'd still expect a devil's advocate to come out of the woodwork!

based on the info Ian has given us though, I'm suprised he posted this - can only assume he lost the hand in some amusing manner...

this really isnt a tough spot, in a 3 bet pot with top set just move in. i would bet the turn for sure because he will take a freecard alot with something like JsJ. Also, most people shove a flush draw on the flop if they get there with 2 suited cards

Yes this is a very easy shove

I would have bet the turn here. I think we should only be checking this turn if you feel he may now fire again with JJ or QQ or AK with a spade and i don't think a nit like this does.

    As played yeah i shove.

    Opr

Yeah, I felt kinda retarded after the hand. He had AsKx and checked behind a blank river. Think turn lead/call shove would have been better or crai as played.

i think you need to bet this turn, not only for value but since it is against a nitty regular you also need to protect your second barrells (obviously its somewhat different in a reraised pot but its still a consideration, you should be pushing players like this around a fair bit so when you do have a good hand you need to show them that you are betting it)

that is unless you check raise your turned draws a lot,in which case you need to check raise, check calling is definitely the worst option here.
