where is the best place to sell a classic

    I've decided to try to sell my fiat 500 estate and i'm just wondering where is the best place to advertise. Its in very good condition but still needs some work with the wiring to make it road worthy. Any ideas.

    Try irish vintage scene magazine, there seems to be similar stuff for sale in there.

    otherwise start getting friendly with people/clubs as word of mouth is v. good.

    Hi There a classifeid advert in IriSh Vintage Scene is still only €20 and car is left in untill sold, also there are over 5000 readers every month and they are all vintage/classic enthusasits any car that is priced right sells in the first month on average 50cars a month are sold through our magazine.

    You can pop it up on eBay and include all the pics and info you could ever need.

    When people call about the car, you can give them the item number and tell them to check it out and give you shout back with any more questions. That's what I did - sorts out the messers that way. :)

    Also used basic ads in autotrader and carzone. Prepare for the long haul too, I'd say.

    Its a 1964 estate, blue, has the original engine. Its been restored and is about 95% complete.
    its got 26000miles on the clock. It was bought in derry in 1964 and i'm the second owner.
