Strange DLA rules.

A guy from Belfast who had his leg amputated after a "punishment shooting" has been refused DLA because the artificial leg he got makes him "too mobile". Yet, a certain MLA admitted last week that he receives full DLA despite being able to carry out his elected duties and earning £40,000 a year. Strange decision in my opinion. Surely the guy with the artificial leg should get something?
