Could someone please tell me that if I were to repeat the LC, would it be possible to count my best six subjects from both years? e.g 2 from this year and 4 from next years exam.

You can't. Has to be either 6 from this year or 6 from next year.

No, a browse of any prospectus will tell you that a 'an applicant's best sx subjects from one sitting of the leaving cert will be used for scoring purposes'. However a student may combine results from different sitting of the leaving cert for the purpose of satisfying matriculation requirements.

    Thanks for that.
