Is there anyway I can order the DVD or CD version of LinuxMCE for free? I thought it would be the same as ordering Ubuntu. If not I'll just download the ISO but it's 3.7 Gigs!

    Thanks

Had a quick look on two websites of businesses that sell CDs/DVDs of distros. No sign of it. Not many distros apart from Ubuntu offer the free CD/DVD delivery.

    Try downloading it by torrent.

This is a little OT, but TBH id avoid "Linux MCE" and go with either knoppymyth, mythdora or run FC6 and use the guide found here.

Linux MCE has to be the most overpromised and underdeliverd piece of software ive seen in a long time. It actually gets me angry because it gives a bad rep to the other excellent open-source software that it is based off.

Sorry for the rant. Be sure to post up on the HTPC/Media Centre Forum if you have any questions about getting up and running!
