Heya! We're currently in the process of looking for a company to do an attic conversion for us. Does anyone out there have any general advice on this type of thing, or companies to recommend? Thanks.

for additional living space or just storage? there is a big difference: if u clarify u will not waste peoples time by giving ideas on what u dont want:
lots of intell on both on this forum, especially the diy section

My advice is; beware of cowboys, because the country is full of them! They don't comply with fire, structure and insulation regulations.

Where are you based? What type of house is it, ie. semi-d, old/new or timber-framed? <SNIP>
    Good luck.

Edit by muffler: Yellow card plasto. If you want to advertise contact one of the admins and pay for it. In the meantime please refrain from this practice.

Ah sorry, it's for additional living space! I'm not doing a bit of this work myself, the house is pretty small and terraced, that's about all I know.
