Code on Peugeot radio/cd player how does it work?

I have a code consisting of 3 letters and a number but the cd player only have numbers 1 to 6 and no letters, how do I enter the code? thanks

Usually you use the volume or frequency buttons to go up or down.
Have you a manual for it?

nah the stupid dealer never gave me a manual, I won one on ebay but i am waiting for that to arrive

Wait until someone tells you how to do it (maybe pre-empt the questions by telling people the year/model of Pug you have).
Usually with factory radios they self lock after 3 unsuccesful code attempts.
