    Lads.
Does anyone know of where a really good pork pie can be got in Dublin? Marks and Spencers do a reasonable one but I would rather if it wasn't pre-packed and for preference if it was cooked on site.
A long shot I know but if anyone knows 'twill be the Brotherhood

A butchers would be the best place to try, they would make them there and you would just have to cook it!!
    its worth a try!!:D

Woah, woah, woah! there princess (if that is your real name).. You expect one of the brethen to..

    a) go shopping
    b) cook

Surely what you meant to say was that, you would be delighted to venture out to the butchers (not stopping to gossip with all the other wimmens, I hear the butchers is a hot bed for gossiping wimmens), pick up said treat, whilst stopping off at the local off license to pick up the favoured beverage of the man of the house.. return home glowing with a pleasant smile on your face, and a can already open.. and then commence cooking this tasty pie..

    Without complaint.. :)

Thick greasy pastry, filled with cold processed pork and surrounded in pork jelly. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pork_pie

tis the food of the gods I tell ya.

Princess, you need to get your little botty over the Melton Mowbray, the home of the pork pie. http://www.melton.co.uk/

Not only that, but also the home of God's favourite cracker topping, Stilton Cheese.
