Diseqc 2.0 switch

I have bought a new diseqc 2.0 switch but my receiver only has an option of V1.0 & V1.1. Does this mean that they are not compatible? I am having problems switching from satellites and i want to rule this out before i try anything else. Thanking you.

Diseqc 2.0 is backwards compatible with 1.0 - just 1-way communication instead of 2-way.
