hey can someone out there please help me.

im starting 1st year of CK408 in september, and im thinking about doing the joint degree in maths and physics from 2nd year onwards.

however on the ucc calender,it says that MA1057 (introduction to abstract algebra) is a compulsory module in first year if you want to do the maths/physics degree in 2nd year....now ive looked at my timetable and i cannot find MA1057 anywhere.its also not on the list of optional modules.

can someone please tell me why this is,and will i be able to do this module???
    thanks
