    Hey Guys,

I've ordered stuff from the US that's only been posted yesterday (so never gonna make it to me for next week), so I'd like to ask does anyone know where I can pick up an large triangle (or not) plain OD bandana in Dublin?

I think on Henry Street, right on the corner with O'Connell Street theres a lad with a stall. Also on that side of the Hapenny bridge :)

You wont miss the one on Henry Street :)

Its on the corner of north earl street and talbot street. The corner that buses take when they come from the north side. It's a blue shop, just down and across from dunnes stores. Theres a pub beside it on one street(the side opposite where the buses park on) and I think a Micheal guniness beside it on the north earl street side. Its a very good place to buy anything in leather, been going there myself for years. They do sell bandannas, I've no idea what OD means but you should be able to pick up a plain black bandanna.

Note Talbot street leads directly onto north earl street, and both run parallel to lower abbey street.

OD = Olive Drab, or otherwise described as plain army green.

I'm not from Dublin but Mr. Gear has fairly expensive prices.
Try Asha on the top floor of St. Stephens Green Shopping Centre.
They sell em. Have not been in Dublin for a year or two
so dont know if they still have em.

Ran around Dublin like a blue-@rse fly in the rain today (how's that for dedication? desperation?)

    Mr. Gear. nope.
    Asha. nope.
    The Harlequin. nope.
Stalls in Georges St. Arcade. nope.
    Stall on O'Connell bridge. nope.
Stalls beside Weirs just off bottom end of Grafton st. nope.

    Meh.

I've got two of them in the post (the joy of having shipping addresses inside the US). Nice chap and very accommodating, but he's a bit on the slow side to post - Posted them on thursday but I ordered them a couple of weeks ago!

I quite like the look of those bandanas. I may have to get something along those lines myself.

Ideally I want a Para helmet to go with the rest of my gear. But for some reason on ebay they seem to go for a small fortune.

'ships only to the us' is sort of default option when opening an option

click on the 'ask the seller a question'
and ask him nicely if he would ship to ireland
most of the time they do :)

    edit: checked flecktarn.co.uk ?

This chap doesn't, although it's to do with his payment company if I suspect correctly. He uses a third party (not paypal - although paypal hooks into it) and I'm guessing this is where the stipulations are coming from because he does sell some firearms related stuff as well.

He doesn't mind non-US bidders once you're shipping to a US address.

No he actually mentioned restrictions being placed on him 'by ebay' (now that may have just been the easiest way to put whatever restrictions there are) since he sold firearms related kit, and that it was a pain in the ass that the same applied to anything else he sold even when it was not firearms-related.

On that note, the third party tool he was using ('Anandale' I think) caused me great trouble, and he had to have it sorted twice since it could not comprehend billing address != delivery address (since my billing address is obviously not in the USA)
