Hybrid DVBT/Analogue Tuner card - MCE problems

    Hi,
I have a Kworld PE310 Hybrid DVBT/Analogue Tuner card. Its a dual tuner card and can recieve 2x DVBT or 2x Analogue or a mix of of DVB & analogue.
I bought it for its analogue tuning capabilities with an eye on the future for DVBT.

It works fine with its own bundled software.
But when I try to set it up in Media Center, Media center cannot find any channels. The scan for channels returns nothing.
I think what is happening is that Media center only sees the DVBT Tuner functionality. It does not see the Analog Tuners.
Normally you can manually "Add Missing Channels" in MCE but becuase MCE thinks its a DVB tuner card I cant even do that. See MSN link:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555370

Is there any way of overriding MCE, so that I force it to recognise the analog Tuners?
    Perhaps hacking the Registry?

    John
