I recently bought a 05 Avensis Strata. I noticed yesterday that the bulb in one of the fog lights on the front bumber is not working. Problem is it looks like I have to take the bumper off to replace it.
There must be an easier way???

I have never had to replace the bulbs in mine yet (tip wood) but I think you can remove the protective casing on inside of the front wheel arch to get at the bulb.

lock the wheels to the side, then pop off the bottom of the wing liner, you should be able to see the back of the fog light now. Easier when you have a lift! May be less hassle to get a Toyota dealer to do it.

Two 10mm sockets go all the way around the bottom of the bumper take as many as ya need to get your hand up behind the bumper and twist the bulb out anti-clockwise.

Before you start make sure you have the correct replacement bulb, I was given two wrong one before I finally bought the right ones on amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/i00; Carefully remove the inside cover beside the wheel arch, this will expose a 10mm nut, Losen this nut and this allows the side to open and allows enough room to easily fit your hand in, change the bulb, check light is working and then tighten the nut, push the plastic arch cover back into place-Job done
