It's been over two years since Hunter Thompson took his life at his Woody Creek home in Colorado.
I dunno about anybody else but for me there has since been a big gap left in the writing world.
It seems like his very presence would be a soothing elixir to the bad craziness that engulfes the general society of the noughties.
He was truly a man who gave excess a good name and goodness knows he was one of the very few american writers I ever trusted!

Here's to Hunter. For who he was and what he wrote.
He was a supreme southern gentleman.
