what m4,there are many, there all full/semi..nd most come with hi cap 300 mag
oh and single shot would be semi,if you pull triger once one bb comes out

There are 2 M4s on Eirsoft, i just bought the Dboys M4A1 and its sh|t hot. Decent rate of fire, nice and heavy, hi cap mag, semi or full auto, decent battery life (but im told youd wanna geta new batt and charger eventually), it has real nice rangestraight out of the box, and mine fires consistently at 285fps or there abouts...was Nonex that clocked it for me so..

Ive never tried the CQB version but i hear itd be a similar story but possibly less range due to shorter barrel.

Shiva will treat you very well, its a good price, asa first buy id recommend it certainly, since it was MY first buy also.

    Hope this helps.

Have to agree with odonnell really nice piece of kit, received mine the other day, oh my lord the smile on my face when I opened the box! m4 a1 semi, full auto h cap mag, 3 point tactical sling, delivered to the door in a very well packed parcel (very discreet) if you go for one order plenty of bb's from Tony at Eirsoft.ie as you will tend to go through em!!

As a kick off AEG i don't think you'll find a better price or service than Eirsoft.ie(sounds like a pitch, but its true guys) I waited patiently for my m4, Tony kept me up to speed with delivery times and so on..can't fault the service and the price is RIGHT...:D

rc what 9.6 one did you get?? took me ages to realise that you have to unscrew the bolt at the back of the crane stock...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 982 ✭✭✭RC car fanatic

ye i nearly broke the crane stock with that screw.i got a firefox 9.6 1500mAh.drilled a hole in the side of the stock and molded a battery-box out of plastic then glued it to the side. put the battery i the box and connected it through the hole.took a long time.you can also get 8.4crane stock batery on rsov..€17 i think

change the battery to a 9.6 if possible

Will that not kill a Stock Dboys fairly quickly? Its not an upgraded gearbox AFAIK so I dont think that would be wise.
Only saying this after seeing the results of Limo333's new TM M4 after a 9.6 battery was used (stripped gears)
Dunno tho, maybe it will be fine?

tbh im happy with mine as is, so unless there can be significant performance increase i dont think im gonna risk it.

well a 9.6 will turn it in to a BB hose for sure, great fun but the internals will most likley turn to mush after a few mags worth.

I may be wrong but I would not do it at all unless its CA/ICS which can handle such upgrades out of box

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 982 ✭✭✭RC car fanatic

no prob but 8.4 work exceptionally well aswell

Its both semi and full auto.

You dont *need* a scope, but some people like them.

Thats actually the one i was looking at also after someone here recommended an M4 as a first buy to me. Its a good piece yea? Wouldnt go for a scope or anything yet anyway. I presume that package includes everything except bb`s right?
