first of all there are better turntables you can get than technics and youlll get them cheaper second hand aswell

if you have your heart set on technics for whatever reason then the buy and sell usually have at least 2/3 sets a month so keep an eye out there

better and cheaper than technics, hmm, like wha? and why are they better?

they wont be cheaper new(at least last time i checked) but they don't hold their value as well as technics due to technics reputation so you could probably get them for cheaper.

for example the stanton str8150's have better technical specs all round than the latest technics they look better and they have digital outputs and dont need to be grounded.

there are others aswell that have better specs but just not the reputation. technics have been relying on their reliability and reputation for far too long.

dont get me wrong technics are still a great turntable and reliable but you can get more bang for your buck if your open minded
