Trouble loading some sites with NTL/Chorus (Gmail & Aerlingus)

    Hi

    Is it just me or is there a problem with

    http://gmail.google.com/gmail & http://www.aerlingus.com

    Im on NTL and was wondering if its just me or a network wide problem ??

    I know NTL block some www sites from time to time but damn i have flights booked and need to get in to get the info and print it off :(

    Anyone else having trouble ??

    I can get into them sites and I'm on NTL in TT.

    NTL have never blocked any sites. They've had ongoing problems with their DNS servers which meant that some sites were unreachable. To fix this, use a different dns server on your pc - read the tutorial on www.opendns.org for instance.

    Using OpenDNS now and its all cleared up...

    Another on the long list of my pet hates with NTL :)
