I'm off to Paris next week, and hope to play a bit of poker. Is the avation club the best bet? Do they have much of a dress code or will i get away with jeans and a shirt/t-shirt?

If no one answers this that knows, I would adopt a default position of not wearing jeans and a tshirt.

I think there is another club in Paris but the aviation is your best bet.No dress code as such but better to wear something "respectable" as the bouncers are intimidating.very nice club though and dont forget ID

I didn't notice a dress code, especially at the low limit tables. There were two guys policing the door, but couldn't tell what their screening criteria was. Hopefully you're not bothered by smoking as smoking at the table is prolific.

They had low limit games running when I was there a few weeks ago: 2-2 NL, 2-4 limit, were in rather grubby surroundings. The high limit, deep stack dealer's choice games (Omaha hi, 5 card Omaha, double flop hold'em, Omaha hi/lo, ...) were in a slightly nicer room.
