    hello all,

i have a question on li-po batteries. here is my issue. i have a mp5, that APPARENTLY takes the mini style batteries, i say APPARENTLY because it does in my arse!. i can get it to fit, just, but it is putting pressure on the front grip, and i know it wont last, it has that look of , 'one wrong hit and im history' and i hate external fake boxes almost as much as i hate hi-caps, and that is a lot.

so i was tempted to get a li-po but since i know, (let me calculate for a sec), oh yes, absolutely bugger all about li-po's, i was hoping someone here is a bit of a dude on it.

    here is what i know

    i need a different charger
    its better then nimh
    it charges very fast
there is the usual web hysteria about them exploding killing all lifeforms on the planet from amoeba up...not too sure i totally buy this

    what i dont know

are they smaller and lighter, this is what i am truly hoping
do i need to get different connectors (some batts have very peculiar plugs on them, i am assuming this is an rc thing)
do they work in aegs without mods
do they come in 8.4, 9.6 volts..all i can seem to see is 7.4 and 11.1 however the mah seems very good. definitely dont want to run 11.1v thru my aegs.
anything else i should think about

    thanks a bunch

edit: sorry put it in the adverts section first....oops

You want to be careful how you phrase some of your posts...

...one might be tempted to advise you to try lube, or vaseline - or a proctologist :D;):p

On a more serious note, I'm quite interested in Li-pos as well - they ever likely to come out in 8,4?
