Got my grass cut recently and the lad put the grass he cut into my green bin. About 1/3rd the way up. I lazily covered the grass with paper for the next few weeks so it's not visible. What's the policy regarding grass into a green bin. It's hardly allowed is it and if NOT, will I be OK thias one time to risk having it emptied. It has been in the bin now about 6 weeks

I assume you mean the green Oxygen bin, if so then that was pretty selfish. why would you think mixing compostable and recycling material together would be a good idea, are you worried they are not busy enough back th their centre. you might as well have driven it around at night and dumped it someones garden

A belief in gender identity involves a level of faith as there is nothing tangible to prove its existence which, as something divorced from the physical body, is similar to the idea of a soul. - Colette Colfer

Yeah yeah yeah....I know it's not the correct procedure and I would never dream of doing it.....But you didn't answer my question.....I never thought that mixing would be a good idea....I didn't mix it....read my POST carefully and if that doesn't work, then read it really slowly!!!!

Oh forget it then!!!, I'm sorry I ever started this thread. Ignore my original
    query for complication reasons!!!!

Anyone know if there are penalties imposed
by the companies who collect the green bins
if grass is found in them???

No. Take the grass out of the bin.

No, take it out. When they spot all that grass tumbling out, there's a real possibility that your home will be blacklisted, and you can then forget about having your green bin collected for at least a year.
