OK, this isnt' an ideal approach, but you may thank me for it in the long run.

Go on the internet and get a program called Mobile HiSpeed Data. It's available from www.novamedia.de

Buy it, and put in the following settings:
    Mode: GPRS-
    Country: Custom-
    Network: Custom -
    for APN, set " isp.mymeteor.ie"-
    for username, set "my"-
for password, set "isp"- for DNS,
    set QueryDNS- click on "Activate"-
You will be asked for username; click OK with left blank-
You will be asked for password; click OK with left blank

    and it works.

Otherwise it's a lot of grief, been there, done that, worn the Tee-Shirt.

This costs a few quid, but it works!

It takes care of more than network settings but also some driver issues etc.
(This may not be the right term "driver issues" but something to do with the way the Palm interfaces with Meteor).

    Hope this helps.
