I rang Quinn but didnt have the time to wait on hold, will ring them again 2mrw.

Im going to be working and will need my car for work, so i presume i will need to upgrade my regular insurance to business insurance. But im only going to to be doing the job for 5 weeks, but i'd like to be covered.

Does this usually cost much extra? is it usual to upgrade the insurance and then change it back?

Of course i will be ringing them and waiting on hold for an hour 2mrw, but though id check what the craic is here first.

I know that I have a clause on my private insurance which allows me to use my car for work, but I only got that because we had a business insured with the same company.

If Quinn can't sort you out, then try FBD; they tend to be very good at dealing with business customers.

I got commercial insurance last week on mine, Campion & Sparrow in Portlaoise sorted me out through sun allianze and they were quite reasonable.
