Would you eat somebody ?

It's something I think about now and again, usually when the film Alive is on - Canabalism - can you see the circumstances where you would eat somebody, what if you were stuck up a mountain with no food but lots of juicy corpses hanging about - would you get stuck in or is it something you could never do, I'd definately give it a go but it would be a woman, the idea of eating a man does nothing for me but the thigh of a nice slim woman could be very tasty,smacks lips, what think ye ?

I always wondered about this too. Chances are that if, for example, i was stranded somewhere and starving, and the only chance I have of survival is to eat someone who has died, I probably would. I dont think I'd kill someone to eat though. Of course there is only one way to find out what I'd do in that situation, and the chances are I'd be the one to go first and be the one eaten

Last resort only. I mean in alive they were on a mountain with lots of slow. So plenty of water as long as they could melt it.
They could have gone almost a year, in some peoples case, indefinitely without food.
If it was death or make use of someone who had just died, then i would probably have to go for it.

I'd do it and I think most people would too - you'd eat anything if you were hungry enough. Would agree with MooseJam about having a preference for female flesh though. A nice firm thigh or a juicy breast...mmmmm....

I'm a vegetarian so I can't imagine eating a dead animal nevermind a person. I'd like to think that I'd get the old plane airborne again, A-Team style, before having to face that dilemna.

I remember reading about the taste of human flesh. We're suppose to taste like pork.

I don't know what body part I'd start with. Probably a fleshy part like the quads, glutes & shoulders.

i wouldnt eat someone who died of natural causes id have to have killed them or seen them killed just like you dont eat a sheep you found dead on the side of the mountain(apparently)

also iv never heard of anyone going for a year or indefinitely without food like someone else suggested

the trick is to be VERY enthusiastic at the start...when all the good meat is doing the rounds.......so you have a better chance of surviving until the sub par meat is on the menu and getting your share of that/
