    Heres one for you
after a turbulent relationship me and my gf are back together ( were one of them couples who are breaking up and fighting all the time )
we went to counselling and a lot of the problems we found have been caused by her work commitments basicly shes never home and when she is she expects me to be at her side the whole time,
when the counseller/therapist said this she said nothing and as soon as we left she said she doesnt want to go back to her as she felt unfairly treated
surley you cant be unfairly treated if its couples sessions?
does anyone think like me that shes only saying this because she doesnt want to lose face ?
in my opinion it went well we got a lot out and i would like to go back o resolve our conflicts but am i wasting my time here if she cant face up to it is there much point in going on? shes been very withdrawn since then and im getting a little sick of it now she will barley talk to me

sorry for the length of this but im reallly not sure where i stand

Sometimes the couples who keep breaking up and getting back together are better off not getting back together.

Is there a possibility of changing counsellor? If one person thinks or feels that they are being unfairly treated (whether they are or not) they are not likely to make any progress.

I think you need to talk to your gf about why she feels the counselling didn't work out, whether she'd like to try again with a different counsellor and whether or not you'd both be better off calling it a day.

i think she heard the truth in some way and is in denial.

it might be worth going to get a second opinion somewhere else if you want this relationship to work and if they reach the same conclusion......
