Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone has evented here. I used to do it alot and miss it like crazy. IMO eventing is the most demanding of all disciplines on horse and rider. But i might be biased!!

Dressage was always my weak point and cross-country my favourite. The nerves before it still haunt me!! But the adrenaline rush was amazing. The technicallity and courage required by both was intense.

    So anyway....
    Anyone any memories/experiences.

No, except in pony club. I think its by far the best all-round test of horse and rider.
I'm poo at dressage too, and I'm going to get lots of lessons to work on this before I buy another horse (hopefully an eventing schoolmaster).

Never had the time, horse, ability, or know how to get involved in eventing - id really LOVE to be able for it though...

I had a friend that used to do a lot of hunter trialing, basically the cross country phase of eventing - no jumping or dressage involved! She LOVED it, and she used to run with a partner from time to time - that must have been really exciting!

I've done hunter trialling too. After all my years hunting with my mare, I'd rather do a cross country course than a dressage test or showjumping... I hope to rectify this though...

Used to do it and loved it - found it more interesting then any of the indivdual sports on their own.
