Taking this wonderful pic from thaed as basis (and Anti is our attractive subject [i think])

I have a question to ask. Brought on by a discussion with Monkeyfudge

Where do those roses come from?

Yes I know they are sold on the street via Roma.

But is it a charity like the big issue?

Or a loose cabal of sellers buying huge quantities at cost price and selling them at a small profit?

Or do they grow them somewhere?

    Or what?

If its a company/charity of sorts is there equal employment? Where do I send my CV?

I was just curious cause there are so many across europe and I was wondering was there an organisation of sorts behind it.

Better ask Garth_V to be sure... he ended up eating the one from the photo.

When I was on holidays in Cyprus they came round selling roses too.
They weren't plastic though since I did in fact try to eat one. It didn't taste very nice :(
