There is a satellite to the International Poker Open Tonite at 8 pm Irish time on Mermaid Poker

if you have previously registered into the IPO, you will get the full value of a refund,
if not, then you could qualify as 1 in 10 will do exactly that

incidentally, there is now a book opened on the event by "The Bookie" McLean and he will quote you odds on virtually any bet in relation to the event,
on yourself, on a team, etc etc

any queries dont hesitate to call stephen at 087 2424626

pm me if you need a question answered that you dont necessarily want posted

there is definitely a smell in here, did someone open their lunch??

i was just looking for the waterford winter festival tournament thread and it is on page 2, because for some reason there are five threads running on one tourney, is there no way they can all be put together and leave space so i dont have to go searching the pages for something which is just as important as the international poker open

thats a great idea mr flash
i wonder would the mods consider a reconstruction of the whole site just to please you

they could have a sort of opening page for each topic and then you could click subsections etc

put some meat on the bones of that idea and send it to the mods

its like a lingering smell you get from out of date food left in a fridge that nobody opened for about a year
but it could just as well be a dead rat under the floorboards

    Hi

There will be satellites every wednsday at your 20.00

LAst two weeks before IPO it will be a few more, all can be seen in the lobby.

If you already registred to IPO and win a seat the system will try to regsiteer you for the IPO and will fail, so dont take that risk, cos i cant quarantee a refound since its not with us Mermaid its with the Boss Media software.

I asked them and they say they cant quarantee a refound, witch means in my ears it can be sorted and it can also be not....:( so dont take that risk.

If feeling you want to play a satellite and see if you get lucky please do so, BUT if closing into a seat, then unregister your original registration with IPO.

And on boss Media one finish the tourney.

If there is 4 seats generated by the buy in, the tourney dont stop when bubble boy is out it continue til Heads up finish. and seats will not be registred until then, so play .... and if getting in "the money" unreg your seat .
    Kind regards Anna

    Hi guys,

Just back in now and see that there has been plenty of interesting posts today.

5 players registered so far and three of them from outside of Ireland.

8pm start tonight and we would really appreciate the support (there are so many players travelling over for this tournament on Oct 6th, it will be nice to get the 1,000 runners but we won't get there without the support of Irish players.

Stephen Mc Lean (reasonably well respected individual and known for running a really good honest poker tournament - I hope).

By the way the International Poker Open has a guaranteed prize-pool of €100,000 - subject to 700 players taking part

I ran KK into AA AIPF which would have given me the chip lead. Managed to get my 600 chips back up to 3000 with blinds still at 100/200 and then lost a race when i pushed over the top of the buttons raise from the BB with 66 and he called with the mightly KJ and took it down. meh
