    For the driving test-if you do your test in say an alfa 147 with selespeed and the option for automatic. Which license would you be entitled to get? if you use 'electronic shifting' ie your the one who shifts the gears but without using the clutch,does that still count as automatic driving?
    Sorry if its a silly question,just occured to me-thought id clear it up before i bought a new car.

    I'd imagine it would be considered an automatic and you license would reflect the fact that you can only drive an auto.

    You don't have to do your test in your own car. Borrow a manual for the day.
