Anybody know about streaming webtv through nero media home?

I have mp4 files streaming to my ps3... took about 3 weeks to perfect the art. It'd be easier to just play my dvd's :)

But now i'm looking into using this webtv feature... can't seem to find anything in google...

Try VLC , its by far the best media player and streaming program Ive come across , and free as well !

Nero on the other hand is one of the biggest horror stories Ive come across , its the only program Ive had that has tried to send me to ( some very dubious looking ) sites to acquire a license to play back video that I took on my own bloody camcorder !!

It also insists on trying to get you to pay for a third party Divx player every time you click on a Divx file , again , bang out of order. ( undoubtedly a shady business deal with third rate player supplier )

That takes the biscuit , it was removed from my pc in very short order let me tell you.

    .
I second that, VLC is really good software & has great features.
I use it to stream TV to a laptop over wireless, works great!

I also use it to record TV shows, using windows scheduler.

For web tv dunno maybe Orb or Tversity

For DVD's which are MPEG-2 I'm pretty sure it is the same as the Xbox 360 in that it will play if you rip the DVD to a single file then rename it from movie.vob to movie.mpg
