    Ok people,

Just had a flicker through Mr. Jobs' keynote presentation... I see the .Mac subscription now includes 10GB worth of storage with iDisk....

Question is.... how easy is it to access iDisk from say windows (dont hit me!) computers... and is there an app needed for this? Because I dont have admin access to the common use pcs in work so cant be downloading apps etc...

Also... is it worth the money if I would be just using the iDisk and email a/c?

    Cheers guys.

There is a iDisk Utility for Windows yeah, but it's quite buggy.

Any company that has strong restrictions on admin access on PCs probably has all online file storage sites (including .Mac) blocked anyway (like my job  ).

I only realised, after owning ma Mac for ten months, thats theres a 60 day free trial for .mac. I only started using it last week!

So try out the trial version for 60 days.It doesnt have all the functions but will give you a good idea if its for you.

Funny story about my free trial actually.... Ive used it up... without knowing

My mac is the first one ive owned (love it btw) and I got a notice about the .mac trial... hadnt a notion what it was about.... ah sure why not i said to myself... signed up... never bothered to look into it! doh!

.mac is a mere €100ish for a year... just €2 a week.... surely has to be worth the risk... so i think ill give it a wack lol

    Cheers for inputs.
