Dont raise marginal holdings from the sb like AT. You're building a pot severely oop with a hand that will only get you into touble as in the example given.

If you had of completed then you can make several decisions on the flop with minimum loss but because of your PFR i believe you became compelled to take control of the hand even though you had 25+ BB's to play with from the start and didnt need to get this aggressive just yet.

As played, any bet like the one you made on the flop pot commits you as you essentially have over half your stack in the middle so consider this in future before betting out.

Just remember although you might raise AT from the button by 4*bb doesnt mean you should do the same from the sb. Keep thinking Position position position!!!

Thanks defending my blinds is something I am continueing to work on.

On an aside, The reason I raised here as in this game and in a lot of online Tournies I have played on mermaid there are always a number of limpers. I was trying to get them off here. A

Any suggestions what to do when you have up to 2 limpers from early Position?

The other early move on mermaid seems to be the Min raise, it often signifies a huge hand but not always, so I am wondering how to play against it. Last night had a min raise under the Gun on my SB and he didnt get one caller, then he shows his Aces.

With (what seems to be) more limpers and Minraisers than the Norm is a flat call viable?
