Is it just me or have the speeds really increased on the 3 modem as they said they would.
I'm getting 750kbps download which is so much better than a couple of days ago.
As a long time customer of 3 (since they first launched) I hope they have their USB issues well and truely behind them (Sorry guys was watching tv while posting):D

I'm pretty sure Walkman is using the 3 USB modem, he mentions it in his post. The USB modem is HSDPA so it can reach high speeds, most Nokia phones (The N95 and E90 being notable exceptions) can't do HSDPA and are therefore limited to 384kbps anyway...

So unless your phone is an N95 or E90 there is no need for a higher connection speed than 512kbps...

Sorry to hop in here but is that 750 kilobits or kilobytes per second? I did a mobile speed test on my E90 and got a d/l speed of 925 Kilobits per second which I think is 92 kilobytes per second actual speed. I always get confused here. 92 kilobytes is not really that fast is it? If someone could clear it up for me I'd appreciate it! It says 3.5g on the phone connection but frankly isn't blazing by any standards..

3.5g (I think) means its HSDPA enabled (feel free to correct if I am talking ****e!!!)
