    I would advise you to sign straight away as the disqualification is not always 9 weeks. 9 weeks is just the maximum disqualification that can be applied for leaving your job without just cause.

    No! I did that before, quit my job, thought I'd sign on, but no! because you QUIT it is your fault and your responsibility to go and find another job! this is wot they sed to me,

    You will have to go in anyway to find out how long you may be disqualified for.

    Better off getting fired. I quit mine two weeks ago, and was kind of glad I had to get another one straight away. Being on the dole is crap.
