Trojan Hunter or Trojan Remover?

As I use my computer for work, I'd like to invest in a trojan scanner. I've been quite happy with the trial version of both of the above programs, but I'm unsure about which would be the better fee paying version.

Also, I currently run Avast anti virus and AVG Anti Spyware on my computer. Should I change either of these when I have bought a trojan scanner program.

Hope someone can give me a helping hand.

Theres no need to invest in a trojan scanner, AVG anti-spyware will get rid of any trojans itself. buying a trojan scanner program is just a waste of $$$ to be honest.

No one programme catches them all. You might consider adding one or more free compatible security programmes, especially those with passive blocker functions? Spybot Search & Destroy not only scans for trojans, but also has an immunization programme (passive blocker) that bars entry of ID'd trojans, as well as a host of malware/adware/spyware nasties. It is compatible with most AV programmes, as well as XP and Vista OSs.

Spybot Search & Destroy is free, and brilliant. That being said if your running Vista, Windows Defender is built in and also free and works grand as well.

No need to invest in any extra spyware protection if your running Vista these days. The core OS has been modified to resit most attacks. With WD running, your pretty secure.
