14-08-2007 05:34PM#1I just watched the best airshow I've ever seen. The Patrouille de France put on a display over St Maxime at 16:30. Totally amazing, we were just passing along the coast we didn't even know it was on and I saw the jets screaming in at low altitude. It lasted about 40 minutes in all. They went through every formation detailed on the Patrouille de France site. Traffic ground to a halt as people just got out of their cars and watched from the coast road. What a buzz...

A friend has just told me this was just a practice session for the real show at 17:00 tomorrow off St. Tropez. Guess where I'm going.0
