I've got serious GAS

It's not bad enough that I've just spent the guts of 2 grand on my new Warwick, I now have a serious need for a jazz bass with a maple neck and black blocks. In fact, it's Geddy Lee's sig bass that made me want this. Anyone suggest some cheaper alternatives so that I don't fork out my heard earned money for the GL.

Aye saw that one on Ishi alright. The thing is I really want that Geddy thin neck, does this Jap Fender have the same profile?

While in the US I got one of those for $400 with a hard case off Ebay 2nd hand, I suggest you look there if theres a big diff to prices here. You could even get one of those cheap flights to the states and bring it in yourself! How much are they here BTW? I hope you like skinny necks, they have an almost guitar-like neck - suits me fine but if you like a neck like, say for example the Green Day guy's sig fender bass, forget it!
