SASSY SUE'S GOGO INEVITABLE Special Guest DJ – Glen Matlock
The Sugar Club, Leeson St Lwr, Dublin 2
    Friday September 21st – Tickets €14.95

After a stormer of a set from the Gentleman that is Kevin Rowland last Friday August 10th we are delighted to announce the Irish DJ debut of former Sex Pistol, Mr Glen Matlock on September 21st.

As with any of Rock + Roll’s great icons, historical facts are so shrouded in myth, mystery, and drunken lies that at the end of the day you might as well make them up yourself. One thing I can tell you is that Glen Matlock was not thrown out of The Sex Pistols because he said he liked The Beatles, nor was it, as claimed by Steve Jones, because he kept washing his feet. Who knows why he parted ways with the Pistols, all that matters is that by the time did he had written or co-written every Sex Pistols song that matters.

But hey, you can ask him yourself. On the 21st of September Glen Matlock is coming to play a super rare DJ set at Sassy Sue’s Go-Go Inevitable. Who knows what Glen will play when he joins DJ Dandelion behind the decks, he has always claimed The Small Faces and the Who as major influences, but other than that… Look he wrote “Pretty Vacant” so as far as we are concerned he can play what ever the hell he wants – even if it is Pretty Vacant over and over again.

If the recent sell out Terry Hall, and the up coming Kevin Rowland shows are anything to go by you want to get your tickets now. If you leave it to the night you are going to have to get down early and wait in line, which is no fun at all.

This will be one not to miss.

Sassy Sue’s GoGo Inevitable - It’s Your Friday Night Social.

Tickets for Glen Matlock are priced at €14.95 [plus Booking fee] and are on sale at http://www.tickets.ie and from City Discs, Temple Bar. A limited number will also be available on the door on the night.
