Flights to Vancouver

    Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone knew the best website or travel agency to get the cheapest, yet comfiest, flights to Vancouver or Vancouver/Victoria Island over the Christmas and New Year Period.

I am hoping to head over on the 26th or 27th for 10 to 12 days and want to try and avoid the likes of Fly Zoom and at least have a bit of space as I am terrified of flying. Would ideally like a premium economy class.

Going to contact Trailfinders over the next day or two but have always managed to find cheaper myself than what they have been able to offer to the USA, for flights and accommodation, so want something to compare them to this time around.

I travelled over in June with Air Canada. Wouldn't cross the road with them again. Terrible Airline. At the same time I was travelling with AC, some friends flew with BA and were perfectly happy. We paid roughly the same price.

I've not heard anything but good about Zoom, but that was from people only travelling to Toronto. Don't know how happy I'd be on budget airline for 10 hours.

    Thanks Mike.

I had a very bad and unhelpful experience with BA coming back from Miami a few years ago and have sworn that I will never fly with them again.

I checked out Zoom over the weekend but unfortunately they do not have the premium class seats left for the date I want to return and don't think I could travel economy with them.

    Will keep searching.

If you can get to Chicago, United have a good service to Vancouver from O'Hare. Flew via Chicago on United on the way back. Great airline, sorry I didn't think of going out that way... You could probably get an Aer Lingus flight to O'Hare and hook up with United there.
