Hi, looking to get in the winter wear, so I have it before I need it. Just saw this on CRC, and was wondering if anyone here had one, or could suggest an alternative.

When I got the bike at the weekend they had some good ones - possibly Aurora or something like that name in bright yellow/green/blue but they were €100 so I felt I had spent enough for one day. :D

I have a backpack cover and helmet band for my hiviz year-round gear.
For winter I have a yellow windproof jacket (though only in grey now  ).
I used to have a yellow Peter Storm but I sweat too much in it. The windproof jacket is reasonably water resistant and quite breathable.

I have a yellow Altura Night Vision waterproof which is very visable but a bit hot. I think I might try getting a windproof for the coming winter (started already?)

I got a Pearl Izumi waterproof jacket from Cycleways last year. It was 140 euro. Very light, breathable and very good in the rain. I can't remember which model it is though.

I have this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=11427 in flouro yellow. Very light and breathable, let some rain in the zip and on the back but it was raining pretty bad. I have better gear for when it is really bad. I wanted this for summer showers, extremely compact and light. Any thicker jackets and I would sweat way too much.
    Have the montane pants too.

No hood on it, but I wouldnt use a hood in light rain.

I got two recently. This one...

    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=16414

...is very light, very visible, showerproof and somewhat breathable.

    This one...

    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=12456

... is fairly light, very visible, totally rainproof but not particularly breathable.

A jacket that is both totally breathable and totally waterproof is something of a holy grail. Find it and you will be venerated.
