    Looks sweet!

    It mentions LDAP capability so it must have SAMBA installed.

    Basically its a linux box with a HD. If its anything like its marketing speil it would be great. Im sure the web/mysql abilities would be somehwhat hindered by the hardware, but it still looks like a great unit.

    Might get one myself to toy with!


    /edit 500Mhz CPU and 128Mb DDR. Handy machine, in fact I have a client that wants one already. Great find!

    I hope not. Linux MCE is pathetic to the point of being useless right now, the hardware looks aweful and it uses AMD chips in a "fight the powah" fashion when right now Intel have distinct advantages in peformance and peformance per watt.

    But to be serious, with HD content becoming more popular, larger-scale NAS's are being used more to cope with the storage needs.
