    Good luck.

Never saw the point in wishing luck for going and collecting the results, since it's all predetermined. So here's hoping you all get what you want, and look forward to being in college with those of you who're heading to UCD.

Nor did I really. It just seemed like the thing to do.

Can you be certain that it's all predetermined? And did nobody get results?

I got 555, got Neuroscience in UCD. Push up in the bed, Aonghus.

(I think I may have left out an 'e')

Got 545, heading back to DCU for financial and Actuarial Mathematics

I got 490. Hopefully come up on appeal. For the time being I'm doing Latin and Philosophy in Trinity.

    Congrats, join Gamesoc!

I'm doing law in Trinity. Unless I fail to secure accommodation, in which case the daily commute from Waterford to Dublin could prove a bit much.

That was actually one of the Societies I was thinking about joining.

Having said that, that particular list has 26 clubs and societies on it, so don't feel too special.

Yeah, the Dublin-Munster commuting distance is big alright. Although it's not too bad if I have to commute from Cork. Sean Og's on the radio down here every day telling me how great the new Cork to Dublin train service is.

Sure just get SeáN Óg to give you a whac with a hurley and he'll send you flying up here in no time!

Good, because I was gonna make you join anyways. Like it or not.

I got 560, doing History and English in Trinity.

Let's join forces to do stupid things in Freshers Week, Jim/Donncha.

    I feel so inferior. :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 448 ✭✭Jack Lynch

I'm from Cork. I never feel inferior.

Huzzah! I get to feel like I'm doing something of my own free will!

Sean Og's a bit despondant lately. All the hurlers are. It wasn't so bad being knocked out in the quarters, it's the fact that my beloved footballers are in the final that's really ticking them off.

    Karl! Yes. I concur.

Kevin! (I think!) Hah, take that. Cork hurlers. pft.

    Yeah, 'tis Kevin. Good remembory.

Let's see. Hands up everybody whose county is in an All-Ireland final...

    *Raises hand*

Careful of Maynooth. If you don't keep an eye on them, they'll turn you into a priest in your sleep!

Yeah, in football. Sher, that's practically soccer.

Alas, I fear you're right. If only we were any bit decent at the real Gaelic game, then we might be able to hold our heads up high. If only we had won the Liam McCarthy Cup 30 times. If only...

'59 was a long time ago.

Yeah but... Shut up, that's why.

We have blaas. Loads of them. And YOU don't even know what that means. I hope.

  • Registered Users Posts: 448 ✭✭Jack Lynch

    Blaas? You mean breadrolls, yes?

According to a friend in Maynooth, it's also the college with the highest rate of gay come-outs in Ireland.

That would be ironic if it wasn't for the mass burnings as a result.
