Would regular automotive papers (silicon carbide I ssume) not serve the same purpose, they're available in grades from 80 up to 1000 or more?

I was looking for it for its non-conductive properties for an Industrial Application. Aluminium Oxide based paper will do the same and is readily available.

    Thanks
