    this is madness. I don't get over 50kb on downloads such as torrents.
    any work around?

    I basically have a 3mb connection for browsing.

    Change bittorrent to port 80 using UTorrent and encrypt the connection.

    Using IBB in Maynooth and getting full speeds on torrents.

    They traffic shape heavy downloaders I think so we might not be shaped anymore or something. I don't know exactly.

    In uTorrent, just go into other options and select Enable for encryption. That is it. Leave allow legacy incoming connection checked.
