Hey just wondering any of you guys that own the TM M4 RIS, would it possible if you could post a picture, or PM me a picture of the wiring around the battery and the fuse.

I think i might have possibly disconnected some wiring....either way I'm getting no response from a fully charged battery. I haven't even put more than 150 BBs through it, so doubt its the fuse.

Or anyone that might have an idea what is wrong. :)

    Cheers!

Not being a smart-arse, but have you actually checked the fuse ? It could have blown, regardless of how much the gun has been used.

Open up the plastic cover over the fuse and take a look - it'll be immediately obvious if its blown.

Try unscrewing the plate at the bottom of the pistol grip where the motor lives...take a peek and see if the motor is properly connected.

double check all weldings, and try without the fuse (not like a fuse on an airsoft gun would be of any use anyway)
also, try plugging your motor directly to the battery, maybe something's wrong with the fire selector wiring

Hmmm okie dokie, so everything is connected to the motor properly, tried without the fuse and no luck.

Not quite sure how to hook the battery directly to the motor.

However i think it might be the wiring just after the fuse box. the red wire is connecting to a small metal plate however the black wire isn't connected to anything, i tried connecting it to the red and firing- no luck there.

the red wire is connecting to a small metal plate however the black wire isn't connected to anything,

I had the exact same problem.
    Now listen carefully.

When you remove the bottom to expose the fuse there is a black&red wire connected to the fuse.
There is also a black wire which goes off behind this and is hidden sort of.

The fuse is then connected to a metal plate which has a red wire which goes off into the gun.
Just as it does there is also a black wire with a small gold tip on it.
This need to clip in below where the red wire goes.
    Its difficult to reach.

    Any problems?
    Image might explain better..

Not being a smartass or anything but if you take the fuse out it wont work at all. The fuse is a "breakable" connection between the battery and the motor. It is their incase to much ampage gets sent down the line and damages the motor.

If you are unsure if the fuse is gone and dont have a spare one to check or a multimeter simply strip back a small piece of copper and shove it in where the fuse should be. I dont recomnd this and am not responsable for your gun if it ends up in a different dimention. If you dont have any copper cable lieing around just use some tinfoil like i did with a multimeter i owned a few years ago. Accidently hooked it up in paralel to a live circuit to get a reading.....now the meter is dead. *sniff*

thats pretty obvious :p what i meant is remove the fuse and put the two fuse connectors together, or join them with a wire or a piece of metal.

trust me ive never seen such a thing happen
the only thing that could damage your motor is pressing the trigger continuously while the gearbox is blocked for some reason
but noone is stupid enough to continue pressing the trigger when they hear a weird, unusual noise without anything happening, right ?
