I'm considering getting one of these for my Dreamcast

    http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-h5-49-en-70-en.html

But it only states that it works with Playstation controllers. Is there any difference in the connections between PS"1" controllers and PS2 controllers? If I bought this doohickey, could I use my standard PS2 controller out of the box?

Also, it claims to work with steering wheel controls, so again, I would ask if that means that any "playstation" steering wheel should work?

I would check if those arcade sticks the guys in the comments are talking about are Ps2 only or not.

TBH I don't know why you are going to use a dual shock with your Dreamcast. The DC pad isn't the best ever but it's a damn sight better than the pathetic dual shock. I don't know about you but I use my DC to play most arcade shmups, racers and beat'em ups and the S2 pad with it's woeful analogue sticks and out and out useless d-pad would be awful for these types of games.
